If you are not in business now but you want to start a new business, SCORE recommends that you attend our QuickSTART Workshop series and get a mentor assigned as part of the Workshop process. 

These five workshops are offered frequently and provide you help from SCORE to organize and get ready to start your new business. You will learn what to do, why you do it, when to do it and how to do it. 

After you attend Workshop 2, you will be assigned a SCORE mentor who will mentor you for FREE as you go through the remaining workshops and then maintain an ongoing FREE mentoring relationship as you successfully start and grow your new business. By attending the workshop series, you will benefit from more rapid learning by combining the workshops with FREE mentoring.

If you already own and operate a business, or have a specific problem / question that requires assistance , you should sign up for a mentor now.

The confidential information you are about to enter is required to initiate your first SCORE Mentoring Session.

The more specific you can be about the type of business you are in and the nature of the advice you are seeking will help us assign the appropriate mentor to you.  A mentor will be contacting you in a few business days to arrange your initial session.

Your first mentoring session can be at our office or at another place to be jointly determined by you and your mentor.  

Again, when filling out the request form - even if you specify the nature of assistance you are seeking, PLEASE indicate the type of business in the “Please describe your business and the specific assistance requested” text box.  That will help us when we assign a mentor!
